I think I agree with Rusty. The linked items look like either a receiver or a transmitter ie to turn something like a speaker into a bluetooth device. Cant see anything that says they receive and then transmit.

This looks to be a transmitter and receiver and states it extends the range. Not sure I would be wanting to pay that much though to save walking down the boat.
