This is the legal definition in order of priority of using any UK towpath. The first is the most important and the last being the least and only allowed to use the towpath if none of the others are present.

1 Cyclists ( Lycra has top priority )

2 Runners

3 Anglers ( who must sit on lock landings when available )

4 Dog walkers

5 Other walkers

6 Motorocyclists ( lower in priority as they are usualy stolen )

7 Boat owners

You’ve missed out Stella and Special Brew drinkers. Where should they feature?

Yeah I was thinking the list could be longer :D and of course cider drinkers......one thing though that wouldn't change however long the list is that Boaters would remain firmly at the bottom.

Surely there cannot be many, if any, drinkers of that Belgian gnats pee.

Stella and Special Brew are still among the main choices for most of the drinkers that hang around locks etc. Don’t think they care what it tastes like as long as it gets them drunk.

P.s. what does gnat’s pee taste like, I assume you’ve tried it?!?!

Only in moderation (not a lot of choice in the matter).
