This was taken from Waterscape:

"25 Jun 2007 until further notice Stoppage: Woodseaves Cutting

Update 3pm - Canal open, towpath remains closed

Following the heavy rain several trees have fallen across the canal and towpath at Woodseaves cutting on the Shropshire Union Canal near Market Drayton.

Winding for boats is available at bridges 55 and 60. Signs are posted in the locality indicating the closures. Towpath diversion signs will be posted over the next 24 hours, once the diversion route has been agreed with Shropshire County Council. (Enquiries: 01606 723800)"

I came through on Sunday and it is passable with care.
