Vintage Kabola

Good morning,

 

I am looking for information about the Kabola that's installed on my boat. I believe it is functional but we have yet to try and fire it up. Any information at all regarding this type of system would be appreciated.

Kabola E7

Drip fed boiler.

Fairly straightforward, but no longer made.

Unlike what has succeeded it, it doesn't need a power source, though it has been suggested that it will use rather more fuel than the modern types.

Is your boat something larger than a narrow boat?  Our narrow boat came with one, but the E7 is really too large for such an application, even for a 70 foot boat.

We sold ours.
 

When we had it, I could never locate an English manual for it - only a dutch one.  However I seem to recall that someone updated my old thread on the topic, posting deails of an English manual.

I'll see if I can find it.
