Stoke lock mooring

I'm looking for a mooring for a month or so near to this area any ideas anybody.

Are you referring to 'Stoke Lock' on the Trent ?

If you are. it is not a good time of the year to moor on the River - 2 years ago we were trapped in the floods for over 2 weeks.

It is, but I think I prefer Cromwell.

Gunthorpe is just too busy, but the pubs are handy.
