she lit it with 3 firelighters paper and kindling, and that was for a wood fire not coal,

there was more than a hint that the ecofan heated her bedroom.

she recomended cherry and birch...

Yes in deed. I was on you tube just yesterday and came across many vids re living aboard from many differing people. I looked at a few who were giving sage advice re living aboard only to note they were almost ivariably from people with virtualy no exsperience :rolleyes:

I think that's a bit unfair, they are entertainment first, and they are just vlogging things that they find as they go along. Some have specialist skills, not always boat related, buut hey, weldings just oxygen, heat + metal, and you have a weld.

PS not sure how they can be almost invariably people,  but hey, thats my problem

I watch those that are entertaining and interesting, I come on here for expertise.
