Boat&Bikes
Leaving Barton marina tomorrow, weather looks poor so thinking will just do an hour or two cruising. Any ideas where to moor near a pub tween marina and Burton please? Just for the odd night. Cheers, Ian.

Rob-M
You could stop at the Bridge Inn at Branston. That will be about 1.5 hours.

If the Bridge Inn is not to your taste (it's not to mine) there is a choice of two quite different pubs in the village - only a stroll from the moorings. MHS
Push a little further to Willington. 3 very different pubs there. The Dragon is a decent gastro pub. The other 2 are more traditional locals.

Thanks very much. Ian. Glad you enjoyed it. I should have mentioned that they have some good beers. Rare for a gastro pub. Did you get moored right outside? Rob-M
Don't get up in the morning, decide to walk to Willington marina for breakfast and leave your boat keys on the table not realising until you have walked all the way back to your boat. Some idiot did that a few weeks ago when they were moored before the road bridge at Willington.
