Bell Weir Lock broken - 30th July 1000

For those on the Thames and hoping to travel through Bell Weir Lock it is broken.

Time now is 1000 on Sunday 30th July.

A engineer has been called.

I am told it will most likely open later today but that is speculation.

Please share this on any other Thames forums.

Thanks for this info, we are currently moored up in Staines waiting for it to be fixed, so please update with any news when you get it

Reopened, first lockful of boats going in at 1248.

One downstream sluice is not fully closing but they are able to operate the lock at present.
