Myspace

Don't know where else to ask this question but I visited my very old Myspace account today for the first time in years and although my photos are still there, I couldn't find my old messages. Did Myspace delete them all, does anyone know?

Not at all sure on that, I had an account before Facebook came about, circa 2004 is, but don't expect I've used the site since about 2006.

my space is a music place now, not.logged in for a few years but last time I did I had lost everything and couldn't really see what purpose it was serving.

That's a shame. I had some correspondence from old friends I would like to have re-read. Wish I'd printed it all off at the time.

did myspace ever warn people they would lose all their messages?

It always was music based as I recall. If not used exclusively for that. Like Facebook was very photo based.

According to the site knowledgebase, any messages from prior to June 2013 have been deleted.
