Good evening all,

We wanted to take the opportunity to announce that Canal World, one of the largest and most established online canal & boating communities, has reached a staggering TWO MILLION posts!

On that note, we feel it's appropriate to take the time to thank you all for your contributions over the years and hope that you will congratulate us and yourselves on reaching this significant milestone. - From answering that all important question on which toilet is best, discussion on the history of our canals and boats alike through to indepth technical discussion that may not appear anywhere else online to the same extent as it does here. It is our members, staff and content combined that make the site what it is.

As you may know, Canal World is almost entirely funded by our loyal members in the form of donations. Without these donations, we wouldn't be where we are today. We appreciate all donations received and you may make a donation to Canal World by clicking here should you wish. All funds received are invested into the site.

Thanks again!

Very good. But what would have happened if we all had 11 fingers?

Perhaps we would be playing guitars instead of contributing to the Forum?

A tip of the hat to Jon Belcher who started the CWDF ball rolling all those years ago (as journalists say when they don't know how many years). Is he still boating?

Thirteen digits.  I will need some time to work out the decimal equivalent to 2000000 with base 13.

Nick

Well you've had a year to do it, so the answer is?
