Vulpes is now in a safe, secure and secret location after having a much needed shake down of the engine. Most of the essential provisions remain intact but a small re-stock is in order.

Next move to another secret location on Friday.

I'm all set for playing find Vulpes on Friday.

If you find the old fox don't set off before i get there!

I've just sent you the proposed timings for the route(s).

Hmmm we seem to find ourselves down on the boat this weekend and maybe in Brum, rather short notice. Anyway we will be cheering on any participants we meet, rather than competing. I need a rest!

I knew I would be able to count on your support.

Perhaps you could loiter with a windlass on a few locks.  No blocking bridges or locks with Telemachus.

That’s a thought, we could break down and cause a stoppage that could remarkably be fixed by the payment of a small fee!

On the other hand, sounds too tiring, I’d rather just cheer from the bank!

Ah, but then Nick might have to count as crew. And I doubt he would risk Telemachus' paint. Challenge crews generally aren't afraid of a bump or scrape.

I seem to recall ‘twas you who rammed us, not the other way round!

I'm sure you cut across our bows without sounding the correct ColRegs horn signals.

Tawny is more ready than she was. Engine bilges relieved of lots of mucky water, popped water pipes repaired.

Going up later to clean the fridge and a couple of other little jobs.

She will leave Hatton with some of the crew on Thursday. Hope they obey instructions and we can find her Friday evening. Mind you as I'm bringing most of the food I think they'll tell us where they are.

We nearly always obey instructions.

The Moomins have returned from the Irish Sea and are having a couple of days R&R at Hockley Port before our next bout of sleep deprivation.

Will have time on the long run up the GU to do any jobs assigned.

I will be taking the tub to Birmingham City Centre from Lady lane on Friday day.

Anyone around maybe have a beer?

Also we will again be having a small bar on board with prosecco on tap.

Whatever is left or if anyone wants a glass holler us down I would ideally get a small donation to this years charity, the BCN Society for those who didn't know.

I've received my instructions.

I must leave my fleas at home this year.

I've been upgraded to my very own bed on the back deck.

Next year I may get a blanket.

I will get one meal and one slice of home made cake a day

Thats about it, I must say team Tawney have been very kind this year.

It sounds like they are spoiling you.
