it is drawn, but not doing it for a long time. it would be an interesting project as no Anderton horse boats survive, except in basic kit form.......

took her out yesterday to giver her an airing and stretch her legs..... did a whole 2 boat lengths bowhauling...... she swam beautifully but she didn't want to stop!!

how has it been a month since we launched........ guess I should try and crack on with the fit out......!!!

i really wanted the shutts to look like a wooden boat, hence that!!! Its a whole drop in piece which sits over the steel one, and made from scaff boards....... simple but effective!

one month on.... you've missed us haven't you!!! 

Engine works progressing, hopefully soon the cooling system will be installed and controls in place. 

We've also started lining the back cabin out, the floors are all reclaimed from a West End Theatre and will be varnished when the fit out is done. 

Not too long till we start taking her out for the odd trip to check her out!!!

woodwork is about 80% complete, we're now looking at painting in the next couple of weeks.....

did some painting while it rains..... luckily it's rained A lot so cracked on a bit..... we've booked her into her first festival at Middleport in June. it seems apt to go back to where she was first launched.

painting is practically finished now in the cabin, the stove still needs fitting and all soft goods and brassware but we're very happy with the outcome!
