"Members I Follow"

In the past I have never knowingly "followed" any member.

However am apparently new option when looking at posts is those from "members I follow".

It seems that people who were formerly just on a "Friends" list in the old software, (and which didn't seem to relate to forum functionality, I think), have now become "members I follow".

Is that correct, please?
