Buying new lounge seats

Hi folks looking for recommendations for suppliers for lounge seats, not sure what to buy would like to try out before purchase, we are on the Shropshire Canel but can travel, thanks in advance.

I think you mean for a boat cabin? I changed my seating this year and have tried everything over the years. This time I have gone for Ekorness Stressless leather recliners. I have had similar in the past such as a pair of Wilsons chairs but these although more expensive are much more comfortable and beautifuly built with great soft leather. Easy to get on a narrowboat straight thro the front doors.

If you go for stressless look on ebay lots for sale at a fraction of the new ie £££££££££ cost

 

We purchased two never used for £250 green leather recliners and in as new condition

We used Ikea bed chairs. Comfortable and easy to convert into beds when needed.

We have 2 Ikea 'Poang' chairs we bought as a temporary solution a while back. They're from about 30 quid apiece (to just over 100 for leather) and are so comfy we're still using them!

Another vote for IKEA Poang chairs. Comfortable, cheap, come part easily so you can get them through the smallest doorway.

We have a sofa - a big one (4 seater and pulls out into a bed)

 

Was from IKEA so kind of in bits...

 

Took some getting through the front but managed it and I love it
