Hudson Owners repair kit

I wonder if he also sells chips, or does he keep them all for his own shoulder?

Anyway he won't sell many, we've lost zero in 6 years.

If he does, he will doubtless send the proceeds to the R.N.L.I. - which is where the proceeds from sales of these items will go.

Have you actually read the item description of the eBay advert? Chris is a man with a good sense of humour, as the text shows.

You have lost none in eight years? Crikey! The odds against losing one are shortening day by day - best stock up now!

Don't worry, I can take a joke. Do you happen to have his home address so I can send my associates round?

I would thought you need the foundry address to put that to ashes. :)

I wonder if these are made from recycled sardine tins?

No. Take some old cast iron plate found rusting somewhere near a canal, put it in the blender with some coke (the fossil type) for 3 minutes, pour into individual polo mint baking trays, bake at gas mark 2000 for 15 minutes, allow to cool and then sell on eBay.

No need - he lives on a very old boat held together by real rivets, so, if we accept your usual comments on such boats, he is likely to die a horrible death by drowning fairly imminently, I would have thought!

The poor chap, such a shame he can't afford a decent boat. I'd better order some washers just to swell his meagre coffers in the hope that one day he might be able to upgrade to a boat that is fastened together properly.

Whatever they go for on eBay is going to the RNLI....

You do realise he's only put the eBay advert on as a little dig at me? The RNLI are collateral damage although I doubt they'll complain. Anyway I'll have to admit, full marks for effort although it must be wearying having to sustain such a big chip. I don't know why he doesn't just buy a nice second hand Hudson.

I never realised there was such a thing!
