Here it is folks, the much anticipated 2016 Charity Auction Catalogue.

 

An eclectic mix of 20 lots with something for EVERYONE.

 

All proceeds raised go to Chesterfield Canal Trust to further the wonderful work they are doing on the restoration:

The rules:

 

Bidding starts as soon as a lot is listed and any forum member can bid as many times and on as many items as they wish.

 

Each has a start price of 1p and has no reserve.

 

Bidding closes at 7:30pm on Thursday 24th November 2016. YOU HAVE LESS THAN A WEEK TO GET BIDDING

 

The winner will be the person with the highest bid entered BEFORE 7:30pm.

 

Payment can be made by Paypal - direct to Chesterfield Canal Trust, cheque or in cash.

 

It is possible to post any of the items to the winning bidder is required. Postage will be charged at cost price and the most economic method will be offered. If you are concerned about the cost of postage please ask for a quote before bidding.

 

Items can be collected from Chesterfield or Clayworth (near Retford). They can also be delivered to Derby on Friday 25th November during the day or to Northampton on the weekend of 26th & 27th November. If you are in no rush I can als deliver to Loughborough at New Year.

How do you bid?

 

Simply post with the lot number (possibly with a short description of the item to aid identification) and the amount you wish to bid.

My photo does not do this justice so I may need to get a better one - a lovely framed print from "Colours of the Cut" complete with a sealed pack of other printed cards from the same book. The bag is sealed and I am reluctant to open it to count how many cards are in there or what they are but if you have a potential bid riding on that knowledge let me know and I will open it up and get a photo:

Good heavens - what ARE you lot like!

What size is the copper tray?

 

 

I have edited it, sorry it is brass not copper. (I have some lovely copper items that arrived in the same box) It measures a foot across and wights around 400g so it is a good meaty bit of metal and I adore the pie crust edge on it

Scrap value of the brass tray is around a quid. So I'll be generous and offer £10 for it.
