Key matters I raised were as follows.

* the money side with £190m income in the last year with roughly matching costs. Spending on maintenance was up 15% over the last two years.

* Voluntary income and the costs of earning it

* boats without home moorings

* maintenance - with mention of the re-organisation of the construction teams, examples of lock repairs, leak stopping, Yorkshire flood damage (and repairs), dredging,

* the Trust's 10 year plan and ambitions

* canal restoration

* the important role of volunteers with lots of examples of the types of work they do
