keripmorgan
Hi. I am looking for some permanent moorings near Leeds where I can live on my 57' narrowboat. I'm not too fussy about the facilities (i.e. hook-ups, water points..etc) but somewhere reasonably secure would be great. Thanks

Lovely moorings at the top of the lock and quite often come up with CART. Tim

Robbo
There is some CRT moorings in the centre in Leed Dock (Clarence Dock) available. I think there is a residential space left if you want to go that route although it's not really the best in terms of where you are in the dock. On the L&L there is quite a few marinas just out of Leeds as well. You can use canalplan site to as I can't remember the names! Here's a few... Aire valley marina Fall wood marina Apperley bridge marina Edited October 28, 2016 by Robbo

I think there is only a few left on the leisure side, and only 1 in the residential, I don't moor their now but just outside Leeds. I enjoyed the dock but it doesn't now have the community spirt it did have when I was their, the flats have a good few students in as well so it's now not the peaceful place it used to be at certain times of the year. There is also a good few CMers in Leeds now taking the pee.. The "replica" u-boat is no longer their tho, so it's not all bad Edited October 28, 2016 by Robbo
