Quite how you score 13.05 I don't know. Many hire boaters just passing through Brum for the weekend would have beaten that score if they had entered.

You got 13 points just for ascending Oldbury locks and you would have to be late finishing to get no more.

My assumption is the boat actually sank.

I have spoken to this boat now. Basically, on their way up The Crow on their positioning move to Titford Pools, one of their engine mounting brackets broke. Their points score is for descending the flight, Smethwick locks and the trip to Gas St

They came fourth last year
