i am considering an exterior re paint on a 40 ft nb. i have seen a suggestion elsewhere that shipping container paint might be suitable as it is formulated to withstand knocks and the effects of sun and salt water , has anyone any experience with this type of paint.it does appear to be relatively inexpensive

Are you aware you can buy narrowboat paint, which is designed for narrowboats? No need to reinvent the wheel if there's already a round object, etc....

Don't start that Paul, you'll find yourself writing something similar for about one post in every three! :D :D

Can't see what the problem is.....

..... what the OP is enquiring about seems to be working absolutely fine on this boat!

With about 30 miles of wiring in airliners they could gradually shrivel up as winter approaches, therefore having to have seats progressively removed as it gets colder and carry less and less passengers until spring arrives when it begins to expand again and seats can be refitted as the volume of summertime holiday passengers starts to increase.

Sorry folks, this should have been put in the Wiring loom thread. Maybe a mod could fix it.

RyanAir could get around that problem by having standing-only tickets.

They're already thinking of putting a penny in the slot locks on the toilet doors to cover the extra fuel used by folk walking up and down to the bog which upsets the aircrafts trim that cause regular throttle adjustments. Either that or swapping all the seats for commodes. They've already reduced the size of in flight meals and drinks to microscopic portions to counteract the problem.

While Mr O'Leary and his executives fly about in absolute luxury in Lear jets, three of em. RYR1, 2 and 3. I bet they don't pay a penny to use the bog. Could all be instructed to bring there own Porta-Pottie though.
