valrene9600
Is it a waste of CRT money, must be some costs here with signage etc. Will it lead to youngsters walking into the canal with eyes glued to the screen. Am I just getting to old and being a spoil sport.

ditchcrawler
I saw people doing it on the GU 4 weeks ago, wind up the paddles and nip off to do what ever you do with them. sod keeping an eye on the boat. And these were very big boys, maybe 30 ish.
dogless
Foxton is apparently a Pokemon 'hotspot'. Beautiful historic site, in fabulous sunny weather, with hundreds of people walking around staring at their phones! Each to their own I suppose. Joe the plumber
You're dead right Rog. We've been there most weekends for the last few weeks either walking or on the boat, and it's astonishing. All that beauty to behold, yet some digital rubbish is apparently 'better'. The perfect way to get out into the countryside, but without having to actually see it or interreact with it. However, according to one of the bartenders, it's merely nature's way of thinning out the stragglers in the population (as they fall in....) Guest
There is one good thing; at least while they are chasing Pokemon (whatever that is) they aren't nicking the radios out of cars.

RichM
I think it's a great idea. It may even inspire them and they may well end up as boaters themselves one day!
Lmcgrath87
It's the only way I can convince my husband to come out for a walk with me. Phil Ambrose
Our marina is apparently a hot spot and today I saw a group of lads walking in with phones in hand. I jokingly said " all the pokemons have died here" Oh no!! rang out from them all and I felt really mean and quickly back peddled. Phil
