I wonder could someone over there help see below I need a replacement water pump for Perkins 6354. I'm unable to find theengine serial number but the engine is of the upright type and wasoriginally installed in a vehicle and fitted with a turbo. Engine has sincebeen marinised and installed in a barge. The pump has the number 37711810cast into the body. The pump has four ports, two large ones coming out ofthe right side of the pump (facing the pulley) with two smaller ones comingout of the lower port.The only numbers I can find on the block are:MC 25628 37114960/1XPhoto of numbers and part are attached. Troyboy Posted July 26, 2016 Report Share Posted July 26, 2016 I believe the engine serial number is located on the engine just below the injector pump . I've got a Perkins handbook that shows this . They give an example such as the number 354U251 . This indicates the engine capacity in cubic inches ,the U signifying made in the UK and the second group the serial number of the engine .
