Best Porthole Covers Ever?

Thinking of trying to build some of these (with darker, light blocking material obviously) as porthole covers when I fit out my boat. Anyone seen anything similar? The guy in the video supplies CAD drawings for all the parts, looks do-able.

My porthole covers are from the other end of the scale. Equally unique though I should think.

We made ours from polystyrene pizza bases!

I've only got 2 portholes and I have used hand chrochet mats, one is held in place with little pegs the other is held in place with presstuds glued to the rim of the porthole..............works for me as they can easily be removed to wash.

There is always a small hole in the middle, so it won't completely shut out all the light.
