Thinking of a boat build

Featured Posts

As far as I know they broker hulls built elsewhere and they do fit outs to whatever level you spec. You'd probably be buying a Reeves or a Tyler Wilson boat fitted out by them. Like I say that's the situation as far as I've been told.

The best advice I can give you is specify everything you want BEFORE you place your order. This should include things like grinding all weld lines down to a smooth finish, every door and window, hatch runners, what sort of T stud, blacking, painting, floor material, ballast material etc. do NOT change the spec after you have placed your order since this is where builders make most money adding things on.

Thanks everybody for your help,I'm looking at therecheshire houseboat barge

This craft is built as a specially designed craft which may qualify for being sold at 0% vat.

I do intend to live abroad so no worries with HMRC ,just thought I'd give you a bit more information as you've been a great help so far thanks again.??
