Retardedrocker
I need to replace some of the 'dado rail' on Billy, which has been water damaged over the years: leaky windows, judging by the location. It's oak veneered MDF 85mm wide bull nosed one side only and has two horizontal parallel grooves. I've seen it on loads of the boats I viewed, but I can't find it advertised anywhere. Any idea where I might get a couple of lengths? If I wasn't such a technophobe I would attach a photo. Cheers, T.

Any of these close enough? https://www.theskirtingboardshop.co.uk/skirting-board/by-finish/american-white-oak-veneered/r1e-18mm-x-94mm-veneered-american-white-oak.html https://www.howdens.com/doors-joinery-collection/mouldings/oak-veneered-mdf-mouldings/pencil-round/ http://www.everythingskirting.com/shop.php?sec=prod∏=284 You might have to cut down a wider section to match the width. Google oak veneer mdf skirting and it brings up a few more possible options.
Retardedrocker
Hi Dave. Unfortunately not and I've tried google to no avail. I'm surprised I've struggled, because every second boat I viewed had the same moulding. I thought it would be readily available. I'll try a couple of boat builders. If not I might be able to have it made. Thanks for the response. Cheers, T.
