"Swindon Borough Council have issued consultation proposals for the expansion of Swindon to the east with what is being called the New Eastern Villages development. The consultation documents can be viewed at http://www.swindon.gov.uk/easternvillagesconsultation

 

The W&B have welcomed this but have highlighted the fact that the consultation documents do not include the requirement for the proposed development to make provision for the funding of the building of the canal or its infrastructure....and they want to do what they can to highlight this.
