I had the Clarke IG1000 and while it was good they are not as good as the Honda.

I think you get what you pay for with these.

I've tested the IG1000 and the IG2200 and they're not bad at all. Someone posted on here that for 7 day a week use on site they weren't too reliable but that's much heavier usage than a boater might be expected to do.

Yes, that was me! I've a graveyard of the bloody things!

 

One still working well and making its presence known when worked hard.

 

I've a long way to go to exhaust my supply of bits before I can have a good reason to go and buy a proper Genny!
