Eberspacher V's Webasto plugs and sockets

Having been on ebay looking at the above heaters, it seems the accessories are the same...ie the timers and pumps etc....does that mean that Eberspacher and Webasto heaters use the same plugs and sockets? I'm wanting to swap a warm air blower for a a Webasto water heater, the the accessories are the same it will make things so much easier....thanks....

Not only do the plugs and sockets differ between Webasto and Eberspacher but between Webasto air and water heaters, the fuel pumps, despite what is shown on Ebay are different in dosing levels. In short if you want to remove an Airtop and fit a Thermo Top then you will need a full kit including loom, pump, controller even the exhaust is different except for the Air Top 2000 which is 22mm lijke the Thermo Top, though an adaptor sleeve is available. About the only part you will retain will be the fuel supply tube.
