The 'New' Way Of Posting Pictures - Direct to the forum

Featured Posts

Until now I have been doggedly sticking with well tried methods of hosting my pictures on another site like Photobucket, and providing links to those pictures from CWDF.

However I would now like to try the thing that came in with pictures actually held on the forum, (but not I think in your gallery??).

I assumed there would be an obvious button to click in the post editor to allow this, but can't immediately find it.

Any guide I have found seems to relate to the old ways.

Can someone point me at some simple instructions, please?

Click on "more reply options" at the bottom of the response and it allows you to add a picture from your desktop or wherever I believe.

Thanks all.

I had actually found right option, but it wasn't obvious to be it would display the uploaded files as expandable thumbnails.

Now I know it does....

Actually you can but you have to use the full version of the site rather than the mobile version.

I have managed to get it to work with my Windows phone.

Excellent work.

Correct.

This will be resolved when the site moves to V4 of the software, which has an excellet 'adaptive' skin which scales fully from Computer/Tablet/Phone without and function lose. However at present it is still slightly early days and we are leaving other people to work out the teething issues.
