A Long Shot! Boat mattress maker?

The good ship 'Serenity' is a Pat Buckle ex Ownerships, built 1994.

The mattress on the fixed double is still going strong, and we both agree it is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on.

We would like to obtain an exact copy for home.

Does anyone know who Mr Buckle would have used to make it?

If I can get the answer to this and the company is still in business I shall probably go out and buy a lottery ticket!

Ownerships used Wilsons of Kinver for mattresses and upholstery. We bought a new matress for Winthorpe about 2 years ago from them, although I understand that there may have been changes in management structure recently but certainly worth a try to see if there is anyone still there. Good luck.

Has it occurred to the OP that they may be looking for something that actually doesn't exist, ie a mattress with 20-odd years of more or less regular use on it? I'd have thought an extensive "suck it and see" investigation at the better sort of furniture shop -- one with a lot of stock on show -- might be more fruitful
