Lister JP3 crankshaft bearings and shells

RAP

Featured Posts

I am looking for crankshaft bearings and shells at at least 40 thou undersized. Any ideas where I can source them or should I consider remetalling the old bearings and shells. If so, any ideas who can do this?

Comments and opinions appreciated.

Thanks,

I think we sold the last pair in captivity last year. It's one of those things that it is getting towards time to get remanufactured

We've just had a batch of pump spindles for LH150 gearboxes done, next is probably output shafts for reduction boxes

Part numbers for 40 thou under:

Front crank bearing 010-02408/040

Rear crank bearing inner 010--02409/040 *

Rear crank bearing outer 010-02410/040 *

Big end shells 010-04008/040

* Sleeman Hawken list these but you would need to check they have stock.

As By'eck has mentioned I would try Sleeman's but I wouldn't hold your breath. Its most likely to be a re-metal job. The bearings are getting hard to find now.

Don't forget if your grinding the crank that the timing gear will no longer fit afterwards. so you will need that at a suitable undersize as well.
