DHutch
This is maybe an odd thread. But where these days sells a decent bog brush you can actually clean a loo with? We are in a fairly hard water area and all the brushes at b&q/tescos/argos/wilcos are feather weight two-part screw together chrome and plastic designed only to fit into a small box and hold together long enough for the photo on the front. Saw a one part plastic on in a shop and asked a member of staff if was any good, she said it was ok, flexed it a bit in front of my, and it snapped clean into before even leaving the shop. So there we go, what am I missing, where do I need look? Mail order or highstreet. Daniel

Phil Ambrose
My wife has a love affair with Toilet Duck brush which has a sort of grippt thing for holding disposable cleaning pads. We also have a sturdy Toilet brush which I gave a haircut to fit better in the smaller orifice of a thetford. Not adverse to getting down and dirty with a cloth etc. Phil

Darren Ha, sadly while I would love to, its not happening and its certainly not something I expect my housemates would take to. Not really after a woodern one as the bathrooms quite white/cleanlines just a new sturdy plastic one like yellowing one I have downstairs which came with the house. And a dustpan..... You beauty! Scholar Gypsy
We're very pleased with the one we bought for £4.99 in a discount store in Boston this summer, since christened the Boston Boat Bog Brush, For the previous 35 years we have used a washing up brush - designed for recalcitrant saucepans etc, Edited February 6, 2016 by Scholar Gypsy
DaveC
Get a washing up brush from Lidl - just the tool on the boat. Make a holder from a cut down squash bottle or cut down milk container. Dave
