especial MJG you youtube help a lot after seeing that I updated its firmware all seems to work

hopefully tomorrow after i set it up where it will permanently sit it will still be working

 

also i can conect my phone too

Ditchcrawler and MJG: I've just bought this antenna and I can't get it to do anything. I've seen from other postings (on other types of sites) that people have just plugged the antenna in and Robert was their uncle. They haven't even downloaded the drivers. Also, the manual says that you have to disable your other wireless adapters/ software. I'm not too keen on this since I also use my laptop everyday in the office. Can you tell me what both of you did to get this antenna working?

I just plugged the usb plug on the antenna into the side of my laptop and opened the box at the bottom right of my screen where I select which wifi source I want to connect to and everything it picks up is listed there. I just click the one I want and away we go.
