Another peculiar thing is that half the windows have been permanently replaced with opaque fibreglass sheets. Altogether a bit weird.

 

Edited to say that I could give the name of the boat, but perhaps that would be a bit unfair to the owner (unless Tree Monkey is right, of course).

This boat is moored just along from me. It has a special platform on the back for these huge containers. Has anyone come across this and know what they are for? (No-one on board so can't be nosy and ask.)

The map on the boat partly resembles a certain area of Poland, maybe they are purging Carp in fresh water for Christmas Dinner, either that or pickling the Crt Enforcement Teams.
