Buying and selling boats

I've been a member of this site for a longtime. Just about to buy a boat, but is suddenly occurred to me there doesn't seem to be a section devoted to purely the purchase or disposal of their boats and their experiences. I mean the search, bum steers, the disappointments and successes. You can find information, but it seems to dotted around here there and nowhere.

You're probably right, but there have been several quite long threads devoted to individual cases. I am not sure what you'd put in the search engine to bring them up.

Exactly, think it would need writing an SQL extract and print job. Oh well have to think on won't I

Its certainly an option for a forum area, into which we could move existing threads.

I like the idea, I loved reading other people's experiences and documenting my own.

Its easy to create another forum or a subforum but obviously there would be some work in trawling through "General Boating" and the other subforums, if you wanted to locate old threads and move them over to the new area?
