Hi all,

my stove looks like this at the moment:

The flue needs to be replaced, and it also needs a new bit to connect the flue with the stove. What is that called? A flue collar? I'm talking about the thing in the photo that's split in two halves.

Does anyone know if and where I could source this online? Are they all different for different stove brands?

Thanks a lot for any hints!

The Boatman stove is almost a direct copy of that Carabo stove. It might be worth trying to measure the bits, the top plate collar, the flue pipes inside and outside diameter and contacting Boatman stoves. Also, I think Ray Bowerne at Streethay Wharf near Lichfield is or used to be a Carabo agent.

Thanks guys. I did search the forum before and have googled as well, I'm not just being lazy. I could just find replacement glass online, but that's not what I need.

Thanks bizzar, that's all very useful advice!!

I have the very same stove. But in your picture it is not clear exactly what is broken:

IIRC (I'm not on the boat at the moment) the collar into which the flue fits is an integral part of the top of the stove, and contains a flue damper, which I have removed for safety reasons. I doubt if you'll get a new flue outlet: as you have found, Carabo spares seem to be limited to the glass. As to a flue, any 4" pipe will fit into the flue outlet - I have a stainless steel one but don't know whether it was supplied with the stove.

Edited to say I've looked at the other pics now and see what you mean. Although the simplest and smallest Boatman stove seems similar to the Carabo, I very much doubt whether the parts would be interchangeable. But good luck.
