Fuel (DayTank) Filter

I've got a (Fleetguard ff167) spin on cartridge fuel filter just below the day tank (fuel isolation valve just above it) which I want to change.

 

Once the old filter is off:

 

1) do I need to charge the new one with fuel (I assume no as the day tank will just fill it via gravity once day tank valve is turned back on) .

 

2) Any air bleeding necessary? iirc the engine was just cranked a few times last time we did it).

It can't hurt to prime the new filter if you want to. If it means having fuel running down your arm to do this then don't bother. A few cranks on the key will pull the fuel through fairly easily.
