Slow Cooked Lamb Shanks

Naughty Cal

Our gas oven has a "slow cooking" setting, I wonder if the results would be as mouthwateringly good with the same recipe in a casserole dish?

ETA lamb shanks are Pingu's favourite food, and I've just discovered the perfect wine to go with them!

I don't see why not.

We slow cook lamb in our oven at home.

In fact we are having a slow cooked lamb casserole later in the week which I will do in the oven.

I personally prefer a good T-Bone steak. Nice sized bone to add the flavour and some marbling of fat to keep it tender.

On topic, those shanks look delish. You can actually brown them in the slow cooker itself. Turn it up on full whack. Brown the meat, then turn right down after adding everything else.

There there, never mind. Have you not discovered VNC?

It shows you live topics and nothing else!

All you need is a degree in computer engineering to configure it....
