Divers at Howdendyke on the Ouse

C&RT have published a notice regarding divers doing an inspection after 1600 today. I know little about diving but it seems a late start.

 

Will it be a quick job and the late time is only quoted as a contingency?

Is the Ouse/Trent/Humber so silty in composition that daylight makes no difference to the diver(s) as they wil be using lamps?

PM HW is around 2000 today so maybe they need to work on a rising tide.

Thanks for the ideas. Makes sense from a mud berth. They must be using lamps.
