Forum Conduct - Request for Respect

Firstly I would like to thank members for their ongoing support during the recent and ongoing drive to improve the atmosphere within the forum and update some of the site polices, including those who have taken the time to report content to the moderators for their consideration.

In my mind for the forum to work well and to be a nice place members need to have a underlying respect for each other as people while posting, giving consideration not only for the member(s) to which the comments are directed, but also all the others alongside them, who may be posting alongside or reading without posting.

There is for instance nothing wrong with disagreeing with a members comments or the way facts are put over but you can air disagreement in a pleasant fashion, or with cheap comments and mild personal insults. Clearly the latter is undesired, and ultimately will not be tolerated.

To this end the following summary as recently been added to the site rules and guidelines:
In summary; members are required to conduct themselves in a reasonable fashion, in the way that they post and the way that they behave and react to others. Members who are seen to break the rules, site ethos, or to repeatedly incite disruption on the forum will be reprimanded accordingly.

In short "don't be a jerk" , its boring and leaves a bad taste for everyone.

Thank you
