matty40s
Whereabouts is that Matty please ? If you know where all the historic boats are moored on the offside fields, just up from them. The HB owners are aware, as a matter of fact, everyone on this pound is well aware. Lesd
Does anyone know if these boats had come up from further south on the GU, maybe around Pitstone around July / August time ?

matty40s
:-) greenie Christ on a bike! how did they steal all that water? Presumably, they left those discarded benches for someone to clean up also. :-) greenie They left all the top gates open, the back pumps kept running, and by late evening there was niagara falls over the bottom gates and the bottom pound was flooding over. Presumably the potter from fair Rosamund ( who has been moored on the lock landing for two weeks) opened all the paddles to stop the noise. Loafer
Is there anyone on here who is currently moored up the Shroppie? It would be nice to know if they venture up here! Edited November 26, 2014 by Loafer
grahamjnewman
Now gone past Norton Junction heading for Braunston Passed them at the top of Braunston flight - claimed to have run out of petrol and strolled off - came back within 5 minutes with a can and filled the front boat. When we went through the tunnel it stank of petrol - they may have a leak !! - get the matches ready.

matty40s
That's interesting when I saw them in the summer they were moving very late evening. i have no doubt they have passed the CRT office/narrow bit of canal, ideal place to catch them.. at Braunston after they go home too. CRT really don;t make it any easier for themselves if the wealth of boater information is ignored yet again.
