pump out toilet flush query

Afternoon all, random question, the toilet on 'Oak' is flushed with hot water not cold... I think this wrong, or am I wrong???? It seems a waste of hot water??

Mine used to do that when the cold water level in the water tank was below the outlet i.e I had run out - just in case; are you sure your cold water level is adequate at the moment?

Yeah looks fine. It's taken off the feed to the hot tap at the basin.

Hi ya,

Do you actually mean 'Hot' or maybe just a bit warm or Tepid ?, it could be that the feed pipe for your Flush water runs along or rests on top of as any UN insulated Hot Air Cabin Heater Ducting if installed !.

But normally it should be flushed with cold water.
