Is that the one that swims round and round in circles?

A few years ago on the Upper Peak there was a duckling, perhaps 2 days old, that had a deformed leg so its foot was permanently over its back.

 

I thought at the time that the poor little sod was not long for this world, given predators etc.

 

I watched it grow and last at least 3 years before it disappeared. It always kept its own company away from other ducks which made feeding it a bit of (wholemeal) bread easier.
