Filler for screw heads

I use epoxy filler for nearly all my filling jobs these days.

 

I use it on household 'cracks' all the time...as it sets quickly...you can sand and refill...and its flexible so it resists cracking etc.

Also...if you used a 'water based' filler...you would risk the screw heads corroding and 'blowing' the filler at some point.
