External 'J' section rain channel ... photo included ...

Its Sunday, so thought I would ask here before phoning around.

 

Has anyone bought this 'J' section trim, I would like to buy some for our windows.

Try our friends at Sea Otter !, I know they are having a 'Shuffle' but it's surprising what's found in the Old Stock pile !.

When I attempted to purchase some vent covers from them, they refused to sell me the items I wanted as:

 

"We don't want our products on inferior windows".

and possible suppliers HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE. This last one is the one for me, not far from home - in this particular instance LA301 is supplied in 5m (I think) lengths. (cheapest, too!)

We have just started using aluminium extrusions on a new line of windows. Ill see what we have later.

Had a good look today. Couldnt find anything. The stuff they get in is for bi fold domestic so quite big compaired to boat frames.

try plastic starter strip.....5m for a few quid..under a fiver.
