Editing and Deleting Posts

I have been having problems recently with threads being reported to me, which are then removed before I get a chance to read them. As such, I have implemented the following policy.

 

- No one will be able to delete their own posts. This is because is leaves gaps in threads and makes discussion very difficult to follow

 

- Members will be able to edit their posts for 48hrs after they have been posted. This is to allow a chance for members to think about what they have posted and change if required. Remember that once you have submitted you post (with certain exceptions) it is in the public domain and can be read by anyone.

 

Anyone who wishes to have a post deleted or edited after the 48hrs should contact a Site Crew member (Bernie, John or myself) with a reason for removing the post and they will review the thread and make a decision.
