Naughty Cal
Dead easy this one! Simply roughly chop chestnut mushrooms, or any other mushrooms for that matter and gently fry until softened. Add a tub of light garlic and herb soft cheese and mix well. Cut some light puff pastry into squares and fill with the mushrooms. Wrap into parcels and bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Seen here served with homemade smoked paprika wedges and a selection of vegetables.
Guest
Your smoked paprika wedges look very like what this house call 'slimming world chips'. We do them like this... Chips of potato sprayed with spray light and tossed in a bowl with paprika, laid out on a baking tray and cooked for 30 mins at 220c turned half way. They taste great....... bizzard
The easiest method for making cheesy mushrooms is to pack the mushrooms into your Wellingtons and go for a run.

Lack of information here Mr. B. Is this with or without ones' socks on? and if on, how long should you marinade the socks in the wellies? N.C. That looks like a good one. Naughty Cal
They were very filling. One Wellington and a few more wedges would have sufficed. Will bear that in mind next time.

bizzard
For a really full cheesy flavour I suggest that all of Sundays London marathon runners run the race wearing Wellington boots half filled with mushrooms. A hose pipe lashed to the runners body with a Y piece in the crotch area so that both branches lead down and poke into each boot, the other end lead up into the runners mouth and secured there by a jubilee clip around the lips. The constant plonking down on the road of each boot in turn will force and pump the cheezy mulched mushrooms automatically up into the mouth and keep the runner fully nourished during the race and they won't as is usual end up all skinny, wobbly and faint and collapse on the finishing line through lack of grub. Plates and chop sticks should be provided at the finishing line also to finish off what's left in the boots.
