aaahhhh cute baby RN on ebay

Featured Posts

Apart from being a toy to go to stationary engine rallies, where is the value in this engine?

I suppose there are some spares for a twin in it

The off-grid boys would buy it. RN's will run on veggie oil

The price of Lister CS startomatic sets have increased considerably over the last few years. The yanks can't get enough of them.

Underpowered boats

Richard

That depends if your reference of 'power' is proportional to the amount of 'rooster tail' that you can throw up when stopping or turning a boat.

Anything over 15-20 hp on the canal is wasted.

Well new RN DM's are currently running at around £11,000 per pot!

No they're not

I recall that when the company was taken over about a year ago the prices were reduced.

Edit: G's post and mine overlapped. That doesn't look bad value (a lot of money yes, but many people pay six figures excluding the pence for a new boat nowadays, so the price is in proportion). With the impending change in emissions regs in a couple of years' time I expect that RN will have a sales rush for new engines.
