It is undoubtedly the most provided for of all the GU locks for volunteer lock keepers.

 

Even on a day with virtually nothing moving, as this was, there were two, butlast yearbit was often three.

 

One per lock seems a bit generous, but theone I am chatting to hereknows his stuff, and is very good.

I'm told it's where they do their volunteer training so there is often a CRT Lockie and one or 2 trainees. Shame they can't come up with a scheme to dredge round the bottom bend.
