Oi, Odin hasn't puked since last night! And it was only a titchy little puke.

And it was my fault - I gave him tasty biscuits. He likes tasty biscuits, but his stomach only likes mushy food and dog kibble at the moment. It was a biscuit too far.

Would 'Not currently puking Odin' do?

Richard

Ha! You are determined to get that in aren't you!

I really, really hope that he isn't going to do any more puking. We have got to be careful with what he can eat, but he's eating a normal diet - he just has to stay off anything that is a bit out of the ordinary for a little while.

I'm holding in Hockly Heath until Wednesday when I will do my last bound into Gas Street Basin area.

Thursday I will re-fuel, water and empty the toilet etc. Friday morning will be stocking up with tea bags and Pringles. Friday afternoon the crew arrive and we will move to our start point+

Our toilet was emptied a month ago and with me pooing at work and Dave pooing in Tesco that's not going to be an issue for us.

(apologies for bringing the pump out vs cassette into an amicable thread biggrin.png)

(also before we're outed we do have a portapotti that only wee is allowed to enter - that makes the pump out last longer. We tell guests that if they poo in the portapotti they have to empty it - a good deterrent)

Back on track now folks - sorry couldn't resist

ETA Dave does go to the toilet in Tesco - I just read that back and it read like he was pooing in the aisles!

Anyone know the nearest elsan point to Gas street basin?

You need to stop at Holiday Wharf opposite The Cube is arriving from the south. Elsan, Water and showers there. If coming the other way, there's similar facilities at Cambrian Wharf. There is an elsan point in Gas Street Basin but it's only available to permanent moorers.

There are two!! One at Holliday Wharf coming in on the Worcester Birmingham Canal before the Salvage Turn near the Mail Box and the other is at the Top of Farmers Bridge Locks.

You will see the elsan and water point as you approach the mail box just before you arrive at Gas Street.

Further ones available top of Farmers Bridge Locks, (where there are also showering facilities).

EDIT:

Oops! I should have read right to the end!

For refueling I'd stop at Lions boat yard, cheapest diesel on the Stratford.

If Odin doesnt puke i'm sure Bella Basset will oblige! Not nice to clean up at 6:45 am earlier this week. Her travel potion will be packed and deployed every morning! She loves the boat but her tummy doesnt like any sort of travel. She is also on a specialised diet as she has food allergies, as yet we hven't discovered what she is allergic too, if you see her looking lovingly at you (or the food you might have to hand) please ignore her "i'm starving, please feed me" face she is well fed on special food!

Yes, can I ask this as well please.

Odin would love to eat all the tasty things that you have on your plate at the get together at the end. However, his stomach won't like this very much, and there is the strong possibility that we will see it again. He shouldn't beg for food, but it might all become a bit too exciting for him.

If you are not sure which one is Odin - he's the starved looking black labrador.
